Mastering Behavior Supports & Processes

In this training, participants will explore a checklist of pre-FBA steps, key events requiring
immediate FBAs, and a concise overview of FBA procedures. Learn how to use FBA results to
guide next steps, whether developing a BIP or implementing alternative supports. The
session also covers the lifecycle of a BIP—from setting goals to fidelity checks and
dismissal—and clarifies the purpose and use of other plans such as crisis intervention plans
and Emotional Regulation Plans (ERPs).

frequency counts, duration tracking, interval recording, and ABC data sheets. Learn how to
select the right tools for different behaviors, ensure accuracy and reliability in data
collection, and use data to guide decision-making and improve student outcomes.
